Champion elect Orellana to start from Misano EJC Pole
Spain, Italy and France represented in top 6.
PATA European Junior Cup champion elect Javier Orellana (Europ Foods) will start what could be a title win EJC race tomorrow from Pole Position after snatching the top spot in the closing stages of final qualifying from Italian riders Matteo Ciprietti (Ciprietti Corse) and Emanuele Pusceddu (SK & Itaba Moto) who were 2nd and 3rd respectively, the trio making up the front row of the grid.
Giuseppe de Gruttola (SK & Itaba Moto) will head row number 2 where he will be joined by Guillaume Raymond (Activbike) and Mika Perez (RBC Team).
Britain’s Sam Wilford (IDWe Racing) was looking more than capable of snatching a place on row 2 until he fell on his final lap. He will head row 3, starting 7th on the grid.
The youngest rider in the field Troy Bezuidenhout (Into The Blue Diving) also fell early in the session after elevating himself into the top 12, he will start from 15th after being unable to make it back onto the track despite repairing his CBR650F with a minute of the session remaining.
